- Will there be significant swelling after extraction? Standard extractions usually do not cause swelling. In impacted tooth surgeries, any swelling can be quickly managed within 2–3 days with cold compresses and prescribed medication.
- When will the extracted tooth area be restored? To prevent bone loss and restore function, implant treatment is the ideal solution. In some cases, an implant can be placed on the same day as the extraction (Immediate Implant).
- What should I pay attention to after extraction? For the first 24 hours, avoid hot foods, alcohol, and smoking. Do not disturb the extraction site with your tongue or any objects.
